Short answer is its both! As with all things though we need balance and we need to learn to self-regulate. Why? because we don't want to become so dependant on the opinions and views of others to the extent that we aren't true to ourselves. Frightened to take a decision, to speak out against something we don't agree with. This creates anxiety, depression, resentment, guilt, anger - not a great mix. So here I'm giving my insights on where this stuff comes from and how we can find a way back to that sense of self-worth that is so vital for self-regulation. Hope you enjoy :)
